The New Zealand Law Society Te Kāhui Ture o Aotearoa warmly welcomes you to the 2025 Conference of Regulatory Officers. Join us on 16 and 17 October 2025 in Ōtautahi Christchurch, New Zealand, to be part of a conversation with a theme of Kaitiakitanga: a te ao Māori concept which encompasses guardianship, protection and conservation. In our roles regulating legal practice and protecting legal consumers, we are all kaitiaki. We are delighted that New Zealand’s Chief Justice Dame Helen Winkelmann is our keynote speaker on the first day of the conference. The programme includes a mix of plenary sessions and breakouts for more interactive learning – all presented by a range of New Zealand and Australian speakers. I encourage you to regularly return to this site for updates on the programme. On behalf of the New Zealand Law Society Te Kāhui Ture o Aotearoa, I look forward to welcoming you to Te Pae Convention Centre in Ōtautahi Christchurch this October.
Get ready for two full days of insightful sessions, brought to you by expert speakers, with break out meetings while seeing all that the beautiful Ōtautahi Christchurch has to offer.
